Use a visitor who has not seen the site
Ask someone unfamiliar with the business to review the Home, About and Contact pages on their phone. Give them five minutes and three questions. Do not explain the pages first: that would hide the problems the exercise is meant to reveal.
Minute one: identify the offer
Show the first screen of the homepage. Ask what the company does, who it serves and what the visitor should do next. Record their words. If the answer differs from your intended offer, review the headline and call to action before adding more sections.
Minutes two and three: inspect the evidence
Open About. Ask which facts help them trust the business and which claims need evidence. Check that founder, experience and contact details are clear. Stock imagery can illustrate a page but should not be presented as a real employee or client.
Minute four: try the contact path
Ask the visitor to locate the form and identify required fields without sending a message. Check labels, keyboard access, error wording and the explanation of what happens after submission. A phone test should not require zooming to read the form.
Minute five: choose one repair
Ask what caused the most hesitation. Choose one concrete edit, repeat the test with another person and compare the result. This exercise is a quick clarity check, not a substitute for a full accessibility, security or technical SEO audit.
